Thinking Panties® is a cute, creative, and unexpected gift designed to make people smile.

In 2011, I designed Thinking Panties® to offer a fun and original way to send a personal note. The concept was simple: cotton panties with a vinyl thinking bubble (or sometimes a heart) on the front — the perfect surface to write on. Each colorful package included a pair of panties, a permanent marker (sometimes a pen), idea suggestions, and even space to practice.

It was the first product of its kind.
At the time, most “statement underwear” came pre-printed with generic phrases. Sure, you could order a custom pair online, but there was nothing that let you write a message right on the spot — making it personal, playful, and spontaneous.

Because really… why should cards have all the fun?

The idea caught the attention of national and international media, and I was honored to be interviewed about how and why Thinking Panties® was created.
